Today all the infrastructure have been migrated to 64bit architecture system. While most people wont notice this change, the impact is quite important and exiting. Basically, it mean that those new system are able to handle more data (64bit) then before (32bit).
- Some programs such as data encryption software can benefit greatly from this and effectively execute 3 to 5 times faster.
- More memory can be use by the system (more then 4GB).
